A day in life of a Bluebird Gravesham and Dartford careworker

Bluebird Gravesham and Dartford careworker Louise has shared her experiences as a homecare worker.

Louise said: “Very often my shift starts at 7am and sometimes I cover weekend calls as well if needed. A shift can finish at 10 pm, but we also provide an overnight service where a care assistant says with a customer during the night in case they need anything.

“It can be a long day but when you work so closely with people, their joy and gratitude give us the energy and the motivation to keep going.”
